ABOUT THE ARTIST

Aaron Bleidt is an artist and entrepreneur based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he is co-owner and chief marketing officer of DOXA / VANTAGE, an award-winning marketing and design firm. As a visual artist focusing on digital art and printmaking, his freehand digital drawings and pigment ink prints explore themes inspired by life experiences, his surroundings, and a deeply rooted imagination. His work has been exhibited regionally and nationally, including selection for the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts’ 62nd Annual Delta exhibition. He has work at MIXD Gallery in Rogers, AR, and is also affiliated with Fenix Arts in Fayetteville. In 2025, his work Pinned Lab Rat a.k.a. We Are the Mouse won grand prize at the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum (RAM) Invitational juried art exhibition. His solo museum exhibition, of Wanderlust & Thresholds: Stillness in Motion, featuring 33 works on display, is currently on view at the RAM through January 17, 2027.

ARTIST STATEMENT

"Drawn to clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic, my work aims to convey thoughts, objects, figures, experiences, or emotions in the simplest, most direct, and balanced ways possible — I like to think of my drawings as vignettes or visual haiku. I want to give viewers boldness, color, and depth, with just enough information to inspire a sense of wonder or a spark of relatable introspection. Inspired by nature and the great outdoors, space and the great unknown, symbols and myths, modernist design and pop culture, and slices of everyday life, my work ranges from easily discernible figures and settings to more surreal or abstract visual pairings.
